Marion Jones, the former Olympic track and field athlete served her 6 months in prison after pleading guilty in October to lying to federal agents about her use of performance-enhancing drugs and her involvement to a check-fraud case, now has her intentions on returning to the game of basketball.
Marion is an outstanding athlete, nevertheless. She can do it all. In her college years she did play for the University of North Carolina as well as competed in track and field. She excelled in both sports. I would certainly like to see her do well in basketball. I believe everyone deserves a second chance.
