One of the Hardest Sports!!

In my opinion, cross country skiing is one of hardest sports to train and compete for. My ignorance to this sport has definitely made me watch the Winter Olympics with my mouth wide open. Afterall, being a former elite track and field athlete, I thought nothing else but track. Training for track and field, I thought no other sport can even hang with us. But all sports have there ways of being hard to train for but very similar in mechanics. Every sport intertwines with each other. What sport do you think is the hardest to train and compete for and why?

What is considered Healthy in this Modern age?

What is considered healthy when you have two very different scenarios on both ends of the health spectrum? You have a person who is beautiful to most and considered on the outside, a healthy woman. But the extremes of diet, supplement intake, and exhausting workouts that your body endures; all to present yourself worth for 3-5 minutes on stage for some else to judge. What are the long term effects for this yo-yo process?
And then there is Gabourey Sidibe, an up and coming actress that has made a mark in the movie "Precious". However, eyebrows are raising about if she will fall into the hollywood stereotype of being a thinner female or embrace the fact that her weight is a problem to the public eye. Indeed, Gabby is an overweight woman who is givin a clean bill of health. But my question is when does it become a concern? Yes, she is happy the way she is and I love that about her but at the same time she is causing harm to her body which may cause future health issues. As do both!!!
