Jillian Michaels pushes people to the limit on The Biggest Loser, and it's taught her something: "People are capable of anything when they have a 'why' to live for, she says. So here is 'why" for your workout: "When you're feeling strong and confident, you also feel a lot sexier -- and that'll boost your sex life," she says. The personal trainer's new show, Losing It with Jillian, is coming soon to NBC. Here are her rules for mixing fitness and relationship goals.
Keep your focus
How do you hit on women at the gym? "Honestly, don't," she says. "Go to work out, and work out hard. Be a badass." Michaels's theory: When a woman sees you busting your butt, she feels a primal tug -- as long as she doesn't think you're swaggering. Focus on self-improvement, and your confidence will show. "If she looks at you, just smile," Michaels says. Invite her to make a move.
Motivate with praise
"Make a woman feel like she's the hottest, most feminine person in the world, and she'll love you," Michaels says. Compliments are especially great when they're not expected, so make use of her exercise time. Sure, she might be makeup-free before a run, or sweating buckets afterward -- but she's exercising to look and feel fit, and she'll appreciate your noticing that it's working.
Forget the routine
"The best way to enhance a relationship is to lead a healthy lifestyle -- as a couple," she says. But think outside the gym, and keep the mood about play, not work. Just add a fitness element to any activity you can, Michaels says. On vacation, hike instead of just lounging on the beach, or dance at a concert instead of sitting. "You don't need to run a marathon together," she says.

SOLUTIONS TO CHRONIC ACHILLES TENDONITIS.....


The Achilles tendon is the largest and strongest connective tissue tendon in the human body and can withstand a force of over one thousand pounds. It is located in the back of the lower leg, attaches to the heel bone, and connects the leg muscles to the foot.

The achilles tendon gives you the ability to rise up on your toes, facilitating the act of walking and running. The achilles tendon does not have good blood supply or cell activity and so making the healing process extremely slow for that area. The more blood flow there is to injures connective tissue, the faster the healing process.

Collagen is a protein that helps strengthen the structure of the tissues such as tendons, cartilage, and ligaments. The key to restoring the health of the achilles tendon is to actually facilitate the production of fibroblast cells and collagen in that area and reduce of correcting the cause of the abnormal stress to the ankle connective tissue.

So basically stay off of your achilles tenson. Anti-inflammatories can be very helpful, however chronic achilles tendonitis is rarely resloved with just a steroid injection or an ankle brace. In the many cases the cause of the chronic pain was never addresses, not to mention the many side effects of continuously using strong anti-inflammatory oral of injectable medications including the fact that strong anti-inflammatory medications can greatly interfere with the collagen and fibroblast production of an injured tendon, the very thing that helps the healing process.

MODELS ADVICE.....



Over the years I have become better at beautifing myself, if there is such a word. Coming from wearing no make-up and not doing my hair, for that matter to doing it all. I am taking the time to do these things when necessary hair, make-up, nails,etc. One person told me, with the industry I am in, you have to be prepared and make yourself presentable at a moments notice. I have certainly taken that advice and ran.


Here are touch points from some runway models and make-up artist that you have you looking your best.


1. Make-up should be alittle bit undone. You dont want to look like you spend hours getting ready.

2. The way you dress is an extension of yourself.

3. Focus on the brows and cheekbones.

4. If you like color on the eyes, you must have slick and simple hair.

5. Mascara, Mascara, Mascara!!!!!

6. Concealer and Bronzer can make you look impossibly

refreshed. Covers imperfections.

7. Overzealous tweezing can lead to emaciated brows and

bald patches.

8. To accentuate your upper lash line without creating

overly spidery fringe, apply a strip of false lashes.

9. Keep your eyes open when applying liquid liner-otherwise

your line will look uneven.

10. For full lips go for a glossy look.
